The Associates of the Redlands Bowl is the group for you!
The Associates is a non-profit fundraising organization that was founded in 1950 by Caroline S. Pike, a newcomer to Redlands. After learning of the Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival and the significance it had in the community, Mrs. Pike formed the Associates of the Redlands Bowl.
The purpose of the organization was to raise funds to support the financial needs of the Redlands Community Music Association (RCMA) and to support and promote the Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival. She also formed the Caroline S. Pike Scholarships for the winners of the Young Artist Competition.
The Associates of the Redlands Bowl raises many thousands of dollars to support the Redlands Community Music Association through various fundraisers including the Comedy Night at the Fox Theater in Redlands, Martha Green’s Annual Cooking Class and the Bowl Benefit Gala. Our presence can be seen at every bowl performance greeting the community at the Information Booths and handing out the evenings program. We are also proud to sponsor the Caroline S. Pike Scholarships for the winners of the Young Artists Competition held each year at the Redlands Bowl.
The associates serve as official hostesses throughout the music festival. Today, the Associates of the Redlands Bowl is a vibrant and exciting fundraising organization in the city of Redlands, helping carry on the great tradition of the Redlands Bowl for over half a century.
The Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival holds the distinction of being the oldest continually operated music festival at which no admission is charged. This was the dream of Redlands Bowl founder, Grace Stewart Mullen whose vision it was that “music is for everyone” and should be accessible to all regardless of their ability to pay admission. Her dream was realized in 1924 when the first concert was held at the Redlands Bowl “free of charge”.

Where: Thompson Aquatic Center & Serrao Gateway Lawn at the University of Redlands
Event begins: 5:30 p.m.
There will be dinner, dancing, and both live and silent auctions!
Tickets are $95 each or $1200 reserves a patron table for 8 which includes priority seating and a special gift!
